Bulgarian black sea coast line is extremely beautiful with its impressive coast line and mountains. All along the sea coast line which is 378 kms long, there are 70 beaches with a total surface of 9 m sq.m. Some of them are pretty spacious and are visited by hundreds of people, enjoying the hot sun, others are small and calm, lying in the beauty of some picturesque bays, offering wonderful landscapes. The cliffs all along the coast are perfect place for the people dremaing of romance, fishing and scuba-diving.
The low quantity of the slat in the Black Sea combined with its moderate temperature in the summer (22-24 degrees C) make it especially pleasant for swimming. Flood-tides and ebb-tides are rare and slight.
There are many picturesque rivers flowing in the Black sea, their outflows are surrounded of hydrophilic cool forests. Some of these rivers can be used for sailing with small motor boats and they offer unforgettable experiences to the tourists. The numerous sea lakes, lagoons and estuaries, shelter many rare vegetation and animals, especially birds. There are many sources of healing mud, discovered in some of these lakes, and the combination of this mud and the hundreds of mineral sources at the seaside, puts our contry on one of the first places in Europe for rich balneological resources.
